Ann Arbor Fiberarts Guild

Welcome to Our New Meeting Format: Zoom Gatherings!
Following directives from the CDC, the State of Michigan and the City of Ann Arbor, the Ann Arbor Fiberarts Guild continues to follow physical distancing guidelines and will refrain from holdng in-person meetings until we are notified it is safe to do so. Instead, we are excited to announce we have set up a way to congregate online using the Zoom platform. See our Events page for a listing of the virtual artist lectures and online exhibits we have scheduled. Please check here and on our Facebook page for ongoing additions to our schedule.

“Knitted Glass: How Does She Do That?”
Carol Milne
“I see my knitted work as metaphor for social structure. Individual strands are weak and brittle on their own, but deceptively strong when bound together. You can crack or break single threads without the whole structure falling apart. And even when the structure is broken, pieces remain bound together. The connections are what bring strength and integrity to the whole and what keep it intact.” (details)
